Dhiafatina is the hotel arm of
Qatar Airways and our business model focuses on owning and operating hotels. We
currently own the 400 room, five star Oryx Rotana Hotel in Doha. We are also
working up to opening our first hotel at the Hamad International Airport in
Doha that will be managed by Dhiafatina. Our objective is to grow our hotel

About
Your Job:
As Front Desk Manager, you will
be responsible for the operations of Front Office with a primary focus on
overall operation at Reception, ensuring end of day procedures and subsequent
reports are completed in an accurate and efficient manner. You
will manage front office operations by setting up staffing and adequate daily
yield and inventory restrictions to achieve budgeted revenues and customer
satisfaction targets through direct management of guests' complaints and
feedback. Moreover, you will be responsible to ensure maximum room revenue
through up-selling within stipulated guidelines by setting up daily inventory
controls and the best available rate of the day, decide on the daily allotments
for each sales channel and through reservations and reception desk for daily
walk-in business. You will also elicit guest feedback and preferences regarding
hotel services and take actions by investigating any shortfalls raised by
guests or staff and make recommendations to the hotel manager on the potential
training or enhancements to improve guests' satisfaction, among others.
About
You:
To be successful in this role,
it is essential that you have relevant college or university qualification and
4 years of relevant experience in a supervisory / managerial capacity . It is
preferred that you have airport hotel experience.Moreover, you should have
fluency both in English and Arabic languages, exposure to multi-cultural
environment, good people management skills and ability to delegate work, set
clear direction and manage workflow.
