Hamad International Airport (HIA) is the hub
for the rapidly expanding international Qatar Airways network. Open 24/7 and
located just five km from Doha's city centre, the airport is used by more than
35 regional and international airlines. It is also home to the world’s only
terminal dedicated to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers.
About Your Job:
You will work with other Security staff at the airport to ensure that the security performance standards are met to protect property and facilities at the airport against unlawful interference, theft, and damage. As accredited aviation security staff, you will have the presence, authority and the designation to question, enquire and report on any or potential security incident. You will also liaise and coordinate with external agencies and authorities about matters relating to security and protection of HIA property. You will be also responsible for conducting security related duties both within the Airport Security Operations Centre (ASOC) and within the terminal building.

To be successful in this role, you should
have:
Essential:
·
Trade or Vocational Qualification.
·
Aviation Security course.
·
Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
required.
·
2 years or more experience in Security
Handling activities.
·
Knowledge of basic Airport & Security
procedures.
·
Knowledge of reporting procedures.
·
Basic knowledge of loading and safety of
aircraft.
·
Knowledge of Aviation Law.
·
Knowledge of current security technology
including CCTV and its applications.
Preferred:
·
Previous Airline experience.
·
Introduction to Aviation Disaster Management.
