for the rapidly expanding international Qatar Airways network. Open 24/7 and
located just five km from Doha's city centre, the airport is used by more than
35 regional and international airlines. It is also home to the world’s only
terminal dedicated to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers.
About Your Job:
The role holder will be responsible for developing strategic policies, plans and operational processes and procedures for safe airfield and aircraft operations for HIA and DIA. In this role, you will steer the day to day management of airside operations, operational safety and compliance as well as the inspection and enforcement regime for aerodrome safety rules, policies, and guidelines.
Key Accountabilities include :

You will lead the airside operations team
consisting of safety officers and follow-me/marshallers to ensure safe, orderly
and efficient airport operations.

You will manage and develop a regime for
effective 24 hour monitoring and enforcement of airside safety rules and
driving rules.
·
You will conduct risk assessments and where
required incident investigations for specific airside activities, new
procedures or infrastructure developments and develop mitigation measures for
identified risks.

You will coach and mentor the airside
operations team and take responsibility for ongoing personal development and growth
of expertise.

You will contribute in developing and
implementing major components of the Operations Manual(s), Aerodrome Safety
Management System.
·
You will plan and develop the processes for
timely, safe, and reliable delivery of Follow-Me and marshalling services to
aircraft including the constant adjustment of resources to traffic growth and
mix.

You will develop rules and regulations for the
safe use of the airport applicable for internal and external stakeholders.
·
You will coordinate and ensure safe operations
with key aviation stakeholders.
·
You will contribute to managing the process of
implementation of the Safety Management system.
·
You will assume key leadership role in
managing non-routine, ad-hoc, and emergency operations in accordance with the
Airport Emergency Plan(s).

You will contribute to new airfield planning
and development projects and modifications to ensure that safety standards are maintained
and operational requirements are met.
About You:
Essential
·
Relevant College or University qualification
to minimum Bachelor's level
·
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with
comprehensive knowledge of airport operations and safety regulations and
procedures
·
Specialization in Aviation Management
·
Should possess Aeronautical Radio Operator
Certificate and driving license
·
Knowledge on ICAO standards and recommended
practices on airport operations and safety
·
