Hamad International Airport (HIA) is the hub for the
rapidly expanding international Qatar Airways network. Open 24/7 and located
just five km from Doha's city centre, the airport is used by more than 35
regional and international airlines. It is also home to the world’s only
terminal dedicated to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers.
About Your Job:
The Manager Mechanical Engineering is the subject matter expert for all mechanical assets and systems across the HIA estate. This include ensuring optimal and effective system performance in line with operational requirements, maintenance strategies that maximize the asset life cycle and compliance against statutory and international regulation through effective design, operation and maintenance.
Maintain an effective and collaborative relationship
with all stakeholders and tenants across the HIA estate, through regular
communication, to identify and drive the delivery of their requirements in
relation to the mechanical systems, assets and services.
Monitor the quality of maintenance being delivered on
all mechanical systems by 3rd party FM contract partners, and
ensure this meets the requirements of the respective maintenance strategies, by
completing regular periodic quality assurance audit. Ensure all relevant
statutory regulations relating to the operation and maintenance of mechanical
systems, is maintained at all time, by regularly auditing the content and
quality of maintenance records, testing certificates and training records of
maintenance delivery teams.

experience

Ability to perform complex asset management data
analysis and draw accurate conclusions
·
Excellent project management skills, able to deliver
tasks annual budgets.
·
Must have past experience with the operation and
maintenance of various types of mechanical equipment.
·
Must be well versed with all regulations and
requirements on Mechanical and MEP systems.
·
Must have practical experience in water
production, pumping and distribution networks, food grade facilities and
special mechanical systems.
