About the Job:

You will monitor and co-ordinate all cargo training & compliance activities, training schedules and training plans relating to all regions & departments ensuring all staff training records are effectively monitored, managed and updated. Additionally, to support the department’s objective of 100% training compliance ensuring all the QR Cargo staff have completed all the Mandatory and Job Specific Training as listed in Training Matrix.
Accountability :
·         To Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly training plans based on training needs.
·         Nominate staff for training based on the training schedules and training matrix, and ensure staff completed the recurrent training before the certificate/License expires.
·         Liaise with Qatar Airways (QR) and Ground Handling Agents (GHA) training departments to obtain the schedule of the mandatory, job specific and development training and request for additional courses.
·         To plan initial /recurrent training for all cargo staff in order to ensure that all staff are trained, and maintain staff training records in cargo training database.
·         Liaise with Quality and Compliance department ensuring to support and submit any required documents as evidence to close any audit findings as the department aim to support 100% training compliance.
·         Support superiors on collecting data for the review of key metrics and operational processes.
·         Record statistical trend analysis, daily compliance checks and report results of evaluation.



About You:

You will need to hold a Trade or Vocational qualification and have a minimum of 4 years of job-related experience within the Aviation sector, ideally in Air Cargo. Any aviation training experience would be an advantage.
You will need to have well developed interpersonal skills and should have experience in training in a multicultural environment.
Excellent written and oral English communication is a must, as well as strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and computer applications.  You will also be good at planning, be exceptionally organized, and possess dynamic presentation skills.
You will be able to work with minimum supervision, and able to work long hours/shifts as required by management.
