(HIA) is the hub for the rapidly expanding international Qatar Airways network.
Open 24/7 and located just five km from Doha's city centre, the airport is used
by more than 35 regional and international airlines. It is also home to the
world’s only terminal dedicated to Qatar Airways First and Business Class
passengers.
About Your Job:
Responsible for assisting the
Safety Supervisors to implement and monitor compliance against safety
procedures at the airside, as directed by the safety officer. Escorts and
supervises contractors working airside and is responsible for operating the
"Follow-Me" vehicle to ensure the safe movement of aircraft and
vehicles.
About You:
To be successful in this role
you will have:

Relevant tertiary, Trade
or Vocational Qualificaton qualifications or Diploma or equivalent.
·
Minimum 3 years of job-related
experience required.
·
Experienced in airport safety
management and operations
·
Trained in functions related
to aerodrome/airline safety.
·
Hold a radio operator's
certificate and attended formal training on the use of radio telephony; has
attended formal training on airside driving and airline/airport ramp safety
training courses.
·
Good knowledge of the
appropriate regulations and safety procedures for the airport and can
understand and interpret ordinances, laws and operating procedures
·
attended formal training on
airside and holds a Qatar Driving License/own country license.
·
Ability to courteously and
tactfully communicate and relate with superiors, peers and other employees
